Sound + touch, only if you choose.

Quiet, synthesized interpretations of motion and temperature. Touch where supported. Music takes priority.

MO-1 / THE CLASSROOM

Science that looks
like magic.

You just spawned into this world. Here’s a way of thinking you can take anywhere: see the thread, walk it under load, build on it. Every lesson is a field trip to a room on this ship. The teacher is an AI, so the first lesson is how to check it.

LESSON 0

Catch Mo.

A tool that’s right almost every time teaches you to stop checking. That’s when the rare wrong answer lands. So: practice catching me.

MO Three things I believe. One of them is wrong. Which?

Tap the one you don't trust.

CONFIDENCE PRACTICE

Be calibrated

When you say 80% sure, you should be right about 8 times out of 10 over many similar questions. Practice with these ten checkable space statements.

Choose true or false, then rate confidence in that choice: 50% means a coin flip; 100% means certain. Submit all ten to reveal the answers and sources.

1. Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system.
2. The Moon does not rotate on its axis.
3. Neptune has no rings.
4. Fusion of hydrogen into helium in the Sun's core powers its heat and light.
5. Mars has two moons.
6. Venus completes one rotation on its axis faster than one orbit around the Sun.
7. The Moon has a very thin atmosphere called an exosphere.
8. Olympus Mons, a volcano on Mars, is smaller than Mount Everest.
9. One orbit of Neptune around the Sun takes about 165 Earth years.
10. The Sun has a solid surface like Earth's rocky surface.

THE COURSE

Six skills, six field trips.

  1. 01 See the thread

    Notice the shadow

Most of what we're handed is a shadow of something. The first skill is noticing that a belief was built, so it can be rebuilt.

    Field trip: the cave

Take home: What's one shadow you've been treating as the real thing?

  2. 02 See the thread

    Read the story's shape

Stories carry patterns bigger than themselves. Borrow the shape, keep your own names, and sort metaphor from physics.

    Field trip: the Traversal

Take home: Which story do you steer by, and what does it leave out?

  3. 03 Walk it under load

    Use the wall

When a rule blocks the road, use it: swing past close enough and it throws you further than you'd go alone.

    Field trip: two captains

Take home: What wall in your life could be a launch pad?

  4. 04 Walk it under load

    Check where you spawned

People born under different skies describe the same universe differently, and both can be right about their own sky.

Field trip: the sky you're born under

Take home: Whose sky are you arguing with?

  5. 05 Build on it

    Make it load-bearing

A thread only holds when something rests on it. Build the small thing. Then build on the thing you built.

    Field trip: the Cube

Take home: What's the smallest thing you could build this week?

  6. 06 Build on it

    Keep a trail

Continuity isn't magic; it's a trail you keep. Write down what mattered so tomorrow starts where today ended.

    Field trip: the Log Pose

Take home: Where does your trail live?
